Use the HTTPS Protocol to Connect to Hotmail accounts 1

Currently, Microsoft has updated the latest techniques such as HTTPS, when you use HTTPS on Windows Live Hotmail account. Here are some steps to show you how to use HTTPS by enabling HTTPS mechanism from the Live Mail client application.

The first note, In hotmail, you start Windows Live programs, press and hold the Alt key to display the menu bar, choose where you Tools> Accounts ...:

A new section is open, click the Add button -> Email Accounts -> Next:

The next step, fill in the next menu, enter the email address of your Hotmail contains information on Windows Live / Hotmail and password, check the "Configure server settings for e-mail account" in the bottom of the panel, and click next:

This is a test of your email, return to the "Account Settings" itemin previous step, but this time select the account just set up and click "Properties". The next window appears, select the Servers tab, check the box My server requires auth ... then click on Settings:

Outgoing Mail Server window displays, select“Log on using”, here enter your email address and password, check the box Log on using Secure Password Auth … Click OK to finish:
